Message from Greens Secretary
The gardens surrounding the greens are looking well but Lesley, who is our lone flower bed and bushes gardener, is finding it extremely difficult to keep on top of. If there is anyone in our community who can give a few hours on a Monday morning to help Lesley, I’m sure it would be much appreciated, by both Lesley and your committee.

Bonus Ball Lottery

Sue runs a lottery, based on the “Bonus Ball” in the National Lottery. This lottery currently generates some £2K per annum for club funds. It is little more than a bit of fun, but helps the finances for the running of the club.
Basically, you have 2 choices; you either pay:-
50p per week for your chosen Wednesday number(s) & stand to win £12.50, or £1 per week for your chosen Saturday number(s) & stand to win £25.00. ( Payable a minimum 3 months at a time)
(One caveat; if you own a number before the 30th September each year, and that number comes up in the Christmas week’s draw, your winning doubles!!)
Currently, approximately 50 of our members participate, but there are vacancies, so if you are interested please talk to Sue.
There are numbers available for both Wednesday and Saturdays. Contact Sue for details

Just come along and you will be offered a job to do. Our few helpers are progressing with the trimming of the greens, mowing the outer grasses and the tending of the flower beds. As always we could do with a little more help if there is anyone available for a couple of hours on a Monday morning. Thank you in advance, every little helps.

Any member is allowed to sit in on the meetings as a guest.

All positions on the Club General Management Committee are appointed Annually. All Full Members are able to nominate and/or stand for any of the positions. Normally it is expected that the Club President and President Elect, Captain and Vice-Captain will serve for two years.
